Walking the Santa Ana River Trail near Riverside may require some detours over the next several months. Levees are being rehabilitated to maintain long-term flood protection for Riverside and Jurupa Valley. During construction, the trail will remain open. (INT)

Metrolink’s Perris Valley Line is getting an upgrade. The Riverside County Transportation Commission has approved construction of a second passenger loading platform at the Perris-South Metrolink Station. 12-hundred feet of new track will be constructed to allow two passenger trains to board and deboard at the same time.
