Swine flu claims two more lives
SAN BERNARDINO--Two more deaths have brought to five the number of people killed by Swine flu in San Bernardino County.

The latest victims reported Wednesday are a middle-age woman and a young man. Both had pre-existing medical conditions.

Health officials say the deaths have occurred throughout the county. All the victims were hospitalized.

County Health Officer Dr. Maxwell Ohikhuare reports 206 confirmed cases of the H1N1 virus.

“This is a good indication to what we might begin to see in the fall and winter.”

Health officials say this is only the early stages of a global influenza pandemic. (INT)
