RIVERSIDE--Police officer David Reeves, Jr. surrendered his badge after being arrested on suspicion of armed robbery.

Sheriff’s investigators say that Reeves was off-duty when he allegedly held-up the Auto Zone store on Sunnymead Boulevard in Moreno Valley Wednesday night.

Reeves, 28, was detained inside the store and arrested without incident.

Reeves resided in Moreno Valley. A spokesperson for the Riverside Police Department said Thursday said that the patrolman no longer works for the department. (INT)
