Grenade closes FBI office
VICTORVILLE--There were some anxious moments at the FBI’s Park Avenue office Tuesday.

A grenade placed near the backdoor still had its pin in place giving the indication it could be lethal.

The building was sealed off for more than an hour while a sheriff’s bomb squad inspected the device. It was found it to have been authentic, but it had been drilled out rendering it inert.

A search turned up no other explosives.

The FBI concluded the incident was a hoax, but is trying to develop some suspect information. (INT)
