High-speed trains seek Inland route
SAN BERNARDINO--The next step in a multi-year process to bring high-speed trains to Southern California will be the selection of a route between Los Angeles and San Diego through the Inland Empire.

A series of public meetings wrapped up Tuesday at the Feldheym Library.

Project Manager Jose Martinez says a primary funding issue was resolved at the ballot box last year.

“Voters passed the statewide initiative for high speed rail last November. Now, the Obama Administration is committed to making high-speed trains a reality.”

The ‘bullet’ trains will zip along a 160-mile corridor at 220-miles-an-hour. (INT)
