Bicyclists tackle Mount Baldy
MT. BALDY--It’s become a tradition for several dozen bicyclists when they saddled up for their 19th Thanksgiving Day ride up Mount Baldy.

The grueling test of endurance attracts riders from throughout Southern California.

Rialto’s Dereck Butterfield, one of the founders, says the 17-mile ride back down is toughest.

“You’re always on the brakes. You’re tensed up constantly going downhill. It takes a lot more concentration”.

The high altitude cyclists have ranged in age from 12 to 60. (INT)
