Supervisor considers State Senate bid; Adams a no-go
RIVERSIDE--County Supervisor Jeff Stone is mulling over a run for State Senate.

Stone’s fellow supervisors joked Tuesday about moving his office to Sacramento later this year. But, the Temecula Republican said he’s not made any decisions.

“I could be here a little bit longer. It was a labor of love to represent this board.”

Stone stepped down Tuesday as chairman of the Board of Supervisors. That job was handed to Marion Ashley. (INT)

Meantime,San Bernardino County Assemblyman Anthony Adams says he will not seek re-election this year.

Adams was the target of a failed recall attempt last year. He will finish out his second term in Sacramento.
