Governor suggests Mexican prison for 'illegals'
SACRAMENTO--Governor Schwarzenegger is offering yet another way California can save on incarcerating illegal immigrants: send them to Mexico.

The off-the-cuff suggestion came during Schwarzenegger’s Q-and-A before the Sacramento Press Club. The governor said that California could help our southern neighbor build a new prison to house them.

With a year remaining in his last term, Schwarzenegger was asked about his legacy.

“I’m not concerned about that as I am about getting the economy back, getting jobs back and fixing some things that need to be fixed. I have been very fortunant that many things that I have promised we did get to fix.”

The governor said “it’s too early to reflect” because he has still has a lot of hard work ahead. (INT)
