Human directionals added to flu offensive
RIVERSIDE--‘Human directionals’ are the latest addition to Riverside County’s war against Swine flu.
Sign twirlers are being posted outside ten family care centers. They beckon passers-by to walk-in without an appointment and get a free vaccination against Swine flu. The Inland Empire was identified last month by state health officials as the last area of the state with ‘localized’ outbreaks of the H1N1 flu. Riverside County Health Officer Eric Frykman warns that “Flu is still a threat.” The family care centers are open daily Monday-Friday except February 12th and 15th. They are located in Riverside, Corona, Jurupa, Rubidoux, Hemet, Lake Elsinore, Perris, Banning, Palm Springs and Indio. (INT) Story Date: September 2, 2010
