LOS ANGELES – Frances Reid, who starred on one of television’s longest running soap operas, ‘Days of our Lives’, has died.

She starred opposite Macdonald Carey as matriarch Alice Horton, a role she played for more than 40 years until 2007.

Ms. Reid suffered several strokes recently and was 95. (INT)
