iPhones newest air pollution deterrent
SOUTHLAND--We’ll soon have the ability to find out air quality levels in the palm of our hands.

Right out of ‘Star Trek’, the Southland is getting the nation’s first smart-phone application for a wide range of air quality information.

It’s designed for iPhones and iPads. It not only displays current neighborhood air quality, but includes a user-friendly carbon footprint calculator, everything important to avoiding bad air and improving healthy living. The AQMD says the iPhone app has all the tools to help us reduce air pollution. (INT)
