Former Inland lawmaker appointed to consumer post
SACRAMENTO--For the second time, Governor Schwarzenegger has tapped a former Inland Empire lawmaker to become secretary of the State and Consumer Services Agency.

Schwarzenegger’s latest choice announced Tuesday is Bill Leonard.

Leonard was an Inland Empire assemblyman for 10-years and later served two terms in the Senate. He has spent the last 8-years as an elected member of the State Board of Equalization.

Earlier, Governor Schwarzenegger appointed another Republican, then-San Bernardino County supervisor Fred Aguiar, to the CSA post. Aguiar later resigned. (INT)
