Southwest adds new flights at Ontario ONTARIO--The Ontario-Los Angeles International Airport could be taking off.
Passenger volume is up slightly early this year reversing a sharp decline of the past two years. Southwest Airlines will introduce two new non-stop slights to Denver and Chicago this Sunday. And, airport spokeswoman Maria Tesoro says “That’s a good thing” for improving passenger volume. “It should be coming up by summer, not significantly, but because of the addition of those Southwest flights, we’re gonna see some pretty good numbers.” Southwest is the leading carrier at the Ontario-Los Angeles International Airport.
