Sexting hits Yucaipa High School, photos online
YUCAIPA – Sexting is fast becoming a number-1 problem for students and school administrators.

San Bernardino County prosecutors have intervened in a sexting case gripping Yucaipa High School. At least a dozen freshmen are involved. Students’ nude photos were circulated by cell phones and then posted on at least one social networking site.

Eight girls sent photos to their friends. Four boys circulated them to other students and eventually the pictures went online. All the 9th grade students were 14 and 15 years old.

Statistics have found that 22 percent of teenage girls admit to sexting. Many young boys say they have disseminated photos of their girlfriends to others after they break-up. (INT)
