Case of brothers' deaths bound for district attorney CHINO HILLS – Homicide investigators will submit their findings to prosecutors before drawing conclusions about the shooting deaths of two young brothers.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Cindy Bachman says a handgun belonging to the father of Christian and Bryan Gonzalez was found next to their bodies in a ravine behind their ranch home. “No suspects are being sought. Detectives believe this incident involved only the two boys. However, they have not completely ruled out any foul play.” Ballistics tests on the gun and autopsies on the two boys---aged 10 and 12---may explain how each was killed. Partial results of Wednesday's autopsies showed that both boys died of gunshot wounds. Bryan killed himself. Investigators have questioned how the boys got hold of their father's gun.
