HOLLYWOOD - Competing horror films and a family movie are attracting healthy crowds as ‘Chronicle’ topped ‘The Woman in Black’ and ‘Big Miracle’.

‘Chronicle’, the latest low-budget horror entry, is meeting the high end of expectations. It edged out the Daniel Radcliffe chiller ‘The Woman in Black’.

The future of the ‘Big Miracle’ is less certain. Despite strong reviews, the movie earned the lower end of projections and settled for fourth place.
