Chino teacher accused of lewd acts, charges declined
CHINO – A rash of student molestation cases involving teachers in Southern California has touched the Inland Empire.

Roger Talley, 53, a teacher at Walnut Elementary in Chino, has been arrested on suspicion of lewd acts on a child and making criminal threats.

Talley’s arrest followed two weeks of police interviews with some of his current and former students.

Earlier, the 5th grade teacher was placed on leave.

Talley, of Upland, was booked into the West Valley Detention Center. But on Wednesday, Chino police said prosecutors declined to file charges against Talley.(INT)
