Major earthquakes rock Baja Mexico
ENSENADA – (INT) – No serious injuries or major damage have been reported in the wake of a series of earthquakes that have rocked widespread west coast portions of Mexico.
The latest pair of temblors struck Northern Baja early Thursday. The largest at M6.9 was centered 360 miles southeast of San Diego. It was preceded by an M6.2 quake in the same area.
On Wednesday, a much larger M7.0 quake was felt throughout Michoacan.
The quakes did not generate any tsunami warnings.
