'The Rock' makes its debut
LOS ANGELES – (INT) – It was ooo’s and aah’s amid clicking cameras as a 340-ton chunk of the Inland Empire is now on display at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.

Walking beneath the granite boulder provokes a wide variety comments.

The display is called ‘Levitated Mass’, a creation of Michael Heizer.

The huge monolith was trucked from a Jurupa Valley quarry last winter, 110 miles to the museum in Los Angeles.
