DataQuick: Home real estate rebounding INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – The days of bargain basement home prices are over.
Actual sales prices have risen every month this year. San Bernardino County homes have posted a 12 percent gain since this time last year and Riverside County 10.5 percent. That impresses Cal State-San Bernardino Economics Professor Tom Pierce. “Mortgage rates are extremely low and it seems are slightly less hesitant to make loans. All of those things are good. It’s just a matter of degree.” DataQuick says the average Inland Empire home sold last month for $189,000, the highest in more than three years. Story Date: September 16, 2012
