Replacement of county voting machines suggested
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – The county’s voting machines may be replaced.

County Supervisor Jeff Stone tells Registrar of voters Kari Verjil that a decision may rest with California’s next Secretary of State.

“We need to look into moving these stock of machines. Of the machines we are using are used to help repair the current inventory that we are allowed to use at the polling places. We are permitted to use one touch-screen unit for the disabled at every polling place”, Virgil said.

Riverside County was among the last in the state to report the polling place results in the November 6th election.
