Memorial planned for Warner Hodgdon
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – A memorial service has been announced for developer Warner Hodgdon.

Thursday’s 11am service will be at the Bobbitt Memorial Chapel (on East Highland Avenue).

Mr. Hodgdon was a descendant of local pioneers and became one of Southern California’s most prolific developers.

Retired city clerk Rachael Clark says he’s remembered by some as ‘Mr. San Bernardino’.

“He played a key role in the development of the city including many of the buildings you see now.”

Those include the City Hall and the Central City Mall.

Mr. Hodgdon died March 20th at the age of 80.
