CORONA – (INT) – ‘Hotel California’ never sounded better than on a Fender Stratocaster.

But, now comes word that a part of the Fender empire is closing.

The City of Corona has purchased the Fender Museum for the Performing Arts and will convert it into a community center.

The museum has been a venue for concerts and community events, but fell victim to the economic downturn.
