Crime falls in bankrupt San Bernardino
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Reported crime the first-half of the year was a mixed bag, but overall fell 5.6 percent across the city.

Vehicle theft soared by nearly 25 percent, other property thefts tumbled at nearly the same rate.

Homicides, aggravated assault and burglaries were also down.

Last year in San Bernardino, crime was up nearly 18 percent.

By comparison, crime in Riverside spiked the first-half of the year by more than 11 percent.
