Lifestyle survey finds changes
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Concern over the economy ranked high among those questioned in the latest lifestyle survey in San Bernardino County.

Dr. Barbara Sirotnik of the Institute of Applied Research at Cal State San Bernardino says a few more people claimed to be financially better off than a year ago.

“There’s definitely a difference between younger and older people. Young people are optimistic. Renters are more optimistic than homeowners. And, Hispanics were more optimistic than non-Hispanics.”

In some other findings, fear of crime is inching up again in San Bernardino County.

A majority of residents rate the county as a ‘very good’ or ‘fairly good’ place to live
