Two deputies suspended for off-duty gun play
CHINO - Two Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies have been relieved of duty with pay after initiating some weekend gunfire at the Prado Regional Park where both had been camping.

The Los Angeles Times says the pair brought out their guns to settle a booze-fueled dispute over loud music and fired several shots into the air. No one was hurt.

Chino police were callred and arrested the deputies — Dejay Barber, 44, of Mira Loma and Matthew Rincon, 24, of Ontario — on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm.

They learned after the campground showdown they were colleagues and will have a lot to explain.
