Storm remnants pose Colorado River dangers
LAKE HAVASU – (INT) – Boaters, skiers and swimmers bound for the Colorado River will want to avoid obstacles in the water left over from the recent storms.

Cindy Bachman is with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

“Law enforcement is warning of hazardous conditions such as tree branches, large rocks and mud. Those on the water should be aware of the debris.”

Water levels are low exposing rocks and sand bars.

Boaters should take extra precautions around Lake Havasu and the Parker Strip.
