Freeway ramps open and close
RIVERSIDE – (INT) – A pair of freeway ramps in the Riverside area are getting a new lease on life.

On the 215 freeway, the southbound onramp at Van Buren has been rebuilt to accommodate a new, redesigned interchange. The ramp adjacent to the Riverside National Cemetery has been opened. The entire project is scheduled for completion in December.

Caltrans spokeswoman Joy Sepulveda warns of a closure coming up on the 91 freeway.

“There will be a 10-day closure of the eastbound Madison street off-ramp starting September 9th until the 19th. The closure is needed to construct a new realigned ramp.”

That is part of an ongoing project to add HOV lanes on the 91 through Riverside.
