Analysis: 'Patchwork' job growth
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – A new study on job growth is a mixed bag for the inland region.
Johannes Moenius at the University of Redlands School of Business says growth is concentrated in the core Metro area.
“We see job growth in business services and logistics.”
Moenius says about half of the Inland Empire is experiencing moderate job growth although there are some areas stuck in ‘idle’. Job losses are being found between Corona and Mira Loma, Glen Avon and Pedley.
Elsewhere, job growth in Los Angeles County decreased in August, but increased in Orange County.
