Former inland broadcaster Paul Crouch dies at 79
NEWPORT BEACH – (INT) – Funeral services are pending for onetime Inland Empire Christian radio broadcaster and televangelist Paul Crouch.

Crouch had suffered from a heart condition when he died Saturday at the age of 79.

Crouch managed the former KREL in Corona in the late 1960’s and oversaw the station’s power increase. He transitioned to television managing San Bernardino-based KHOF in 1970.

Crouch and his wife, Jan, co-founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network with affiliates around the world.

Last year, the New York Times reported on the couple’s lavish personal spending including his-and-her mansions in Newport Beach.
