New report boosts job growth
INLAND EMPIRE - (INT) - Another report confirms the job growth around parts of Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

The University of Redlands School of Business found that the year opened with a gain of 3.08 percent on an annual basis.

Director Johannas Moenius has been tracking the changes.

“Riverside and San Bernardino have all been in the area of 3.5% to 4.5% growth. We saw outstanding growth in Calimesa, Moreno Valley and Grand Terrace with improvements over 5 percent.”

Earlier, the State Employment Development Department estimated the year-over-year improvement at 3.1 percent.

The University of Redlands study characterized the Inland Empire job growth as ‘exceptional’. But, it noted there were scattered spots with job losses.
