Gas prices become a guessing game
SOUTHLAND - (INT) – The ongoing spike in gasoline prices seems to be on pause.

The Auto Club’s Marie Montgomery is watching the wholesale prices.

“Those have dropped about 15 or 20 cents this week. That could be a signal to the retailers to hold off on any more increases in pump prices.”

Inland Empire motorists are paying 26-cents-a-gallon more than last month and 34-cents above a year ago.

The issue seems to be ongoing maintenance at Southland refineries.
