CHP launching campaign against speeding, aggressive drivers
INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) - The majority of traffic mishaps in California that end in death or injury begin with a speeding or aggressive driver. The California Highway Patrol wants to minimize that.

Speeding on Interstate 15, which traverses the Inland Empire, accounted for 1,048 crashes in 2011. Those resulted 12 deaths and 545 injuries.

The CHP has received a federally-funded grant to reduce the number of speed-caused crashes.

The campaign will be a year-long, life-saving, endeavor.
