Killer 'desperate to be relevant'
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – A local expert on hate crimes says the white supremacist accused of killing three people outside a Jewish community center near Kansas City was motivated by hate and relevance.

Brian Levin at the Cal State San Bernardino Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism says that Frazier Cross “is despised by much of the hate world that once embraced him and now considers him a traitor.”

Levin says Cross “was desperate to be relevant.”
