Former police chief B. Warren Cocke dies
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Former police chief and long time community leader B. Warren Cocke died Tuesday.

Cocke was a native of San Bernardino. He joined the police department in 1952 and was appointed chief 26-years later.

Upon his retirement, Mr. Cocke became Security Director for Stater Brothers Markets and was a business consultant. He taught a variety of police courses at San Bernardino Valley College.

Mr. Cocke was most recently Vice President of the San Bernardino Board of Water Commissioners.
