Stop-the-John program goes visual
SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – The county’s Stop-the-John program is taking on a visual aspect.

The District Attorney’s office has posted photos of 26 defendants. Names of many more have been printed.

DA Mike Ramos says there’s more to come. “For those convicted of purchasing another human being for sex, we are going to share their name and photo with the world.”

State Attorney General Kamala Harris says the war against sex trafficking is expanding.

“We are talking about cartels and street-level gangs that have figured out that they can traffic in girls and women, in particular, and make huge amounts of money. If the public cares about public safety, they should care about human trafficking.”
