ONTARIO – (INT) – The Inland Empire’s projected economic growth is getting a positive spin.

Economist John Husing is seeing the end of the Great Recession.

“The direction is appropriate which is ‘up’ and not ‘down’. The bottom is clearly way behind us.”

The rebound of the housing market is not only fueling the come-back. But, the rate of local job growth is way ahead of last year’s estimates.

Husing gave his annual outlook Thursday at the Inland Empire Economic Conference in Ontario.
