Deadly fire races through desert home
ADELANTO – (INT) – One person and two dogs perished in an early Monday morning fire that heavily damaged a family home.

Flames originated in a front bedroom spreading smoke and heat throughout the house on Villa Street.

There were initial reports of people trapped and children screaming. But, firefighters searched the house and found only the one victim.

Damage was estimated at $100,000.

Sheriff’s investigators are seeking the cause of the fire.
