Study: California ranks low in children's well-being
OAKLAND – (INT) - California ranks 40th out of the 50 states in children’s overall well-being. That’s according to The Annie E. Casey Foundation’s latest edition of the KIDS COUNT® Data Book, released Tuesday.

The rankings are based on 16 key indicators.

California ranks highest in Health (26th) and lowest in Economic Well-Being (48th).
