Sheriff's helicopter crashes at Hemet airport
HEMET – (INT) – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department says one of its helicopters was on a training exercise when it crashed Thursday.

At least two people were aboard the helicopter. They suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital.

The aircraft was ‘low-flying’ over the Hemet-Ryan Airport when it plummeted onto a runway and partly overturned.

The cause of the crash will be investigated by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board.
