COLTON – (INT) – Caltrans activated a series of new ramp meters along Interstate 10 Tuesday.

They are at various locations in Colton and Bloomington. The ramp meters act as traffic signals when the volume of freeway traffic is heavy.

They are situated on the following on-ramps:

-Cedar Avenue, east and westbound
-Pepper Avenue, east and westbound
-Rancho Avenue, east and westbound
-La Cadena, westbound
-Ninth Street, eastbound
-Mt. Vernon Avenue, east and westbound
