Bank bandit dubbed 'AK-47' strikes again
CHINO – (INT) – A bank robber dubbed the ‘AK-47 bandit’ is now wanted in four states.

Chino police have connected the thief to hold-ups in California, Washington, Idaho and Nebraska.

The unidentified gunman has used an AK-47 assault rifle in his robberies that began in 2012 in the Inland Empire. A Chino police officer was shot and wounded when he confronted the bandit as he exited the California Bank and Trust.

A string of robberies followed that incident stretching from the West Coast to a Nebraska bank on August 22nd.

A $100,000 reward has been posted for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the ‘AK-47’ bandit.
