Earthquake recovery, grape harvest in full swing
NAPA – (INT) – New damage estimates to private property in the city in the wake of last month’s earthquake have hit $300 million.

Losses to public property have yet to be estimated.

Tourism officials in the Napa Valley said that hotel vacancies were few during the Labor Day holiday.

Cate Conniff is the Communications Manager for the Napa Valley Vintners Association.

“In terms of the number of visitors and sales, people seem to be on par with last year.”

The peak of the grape harvest is approaching and earthquake recovery has not intervened.
