Gasoline demand peaks, prices slide
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Summertime driving has been accompanied by nine straight weeks of declining gas prices. And, there may be more to come.

Average Inland Empire pump prices have slipped below $3.80 a gallon.

By comparison, oil industry analyst Trilby Lundberg offers these numbers.

“The lowest prices are in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at $3.11 and the highest is in San Francisco at $3.88”.

Crude oil prices have dropped to their lowest of the year.

The Automobile Club says the peak of fuel demand this year has passed and was not as robust as analysts had expected.
