SOUTHLAND - (INT) – The Inland Empire does not fare well among the nation’s best-educated areas.

WalletHub analyzed 150 communities for the number of college-educated residents and placed the Riverside-San Bernardino area at number 131. The region was 120 in its quality of education.

Among the top 10 least-educated cities were Fresno, Bakersfield, Visalia and Modesto.

California’s most-educated was San Jose which placed 7th on the list of 150.

San Francisco was 14th, San Diego 21st, Sacramento 26th and Los Angeles 79th.
