Ontario crash victims identified as teen girls
ONTARIO – (INT) – A 16-year-old unlicensed driver has survived the collision of an SUV that killed two of his passengers.

Police suspect the boy was speeding down Grove Avenue when the Dodge Durango veered out of control, crossed through the center median, hit a concrete wall, overturned, struck a traffic signal pole and caught fire.

Two girls perished, but the driver and an 18-year-old male passenger survived the late Thursday night crash. The driver is in stable condition.

The coroner has identified the dead girls as Valerie Zavala and Julia Salas, both 16, of Ontario.
