Mother Nature aims to replace lost degrees
SOUTHLAND - (INT) - The first cool-down of autumn has sent temperatures 15 degrees below normal. Southern California weather stages a turn around beginning Monday with a warming trend lasting through the week.

Forecaster Rob Krohn in Riverside is taking it in stride.

“This weekend will be refreshingly cool, the likes of which we haven’t seen for quite sometime. But, we’ll be returning to the hot weather of earlier this month with Metro temperatures pushing 100 degrees by Tuesday or Wednesday.”

The weekend cool down could be accompanied by some morning fog and drizzle only to be chased away by intense high pressure next week as October makes its debut.
