Remnants of tropical storm cools Southland
SOUTHLAND – (INT) – Moisture flowing out of Tropical Storm Simon could send a few sprinkles or showers into Southern California ending Wednesday.

Forecaster Rob Krohn in Riverside is putting autumn’s first blast of dry heat behind us for a while.

“Temperatures will be closer to normal with higher humidities. Long range models indicate another dry high pressure ridge will develop by this coming weekend."

Heat advisories and Red Flag warnings have been discontinued for the time being.

Tropical Storm Simon weakening over Baja California has generated 4-8 foot surf along Orange County beaches.
