SAN BERNARDINO – (INT) – Local law enforcement is stepping up its crackdown on domestic violence.

Last year, the San Bernardino County DA’s office filed more than 3,000 domestic violence cases. Eleven involved murder.

While most of the victims were female, there were 499 crimes against male victims. The average age was 33.

This is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
