INLAND EMPIRE – (INT) – Budgeting is an elusive money-managing technique in many households. And, the Inland Empire is no exception.

A study of the nation’s 150 metropolitan areas found Riverside and San Bernardino counties rank 87th.

Roughly three in five adult Americans do not maintain a budget, and 13 percent say they don’t even have a good idea of what they spend on expenses.

WalletHub used 16 key indicators to identify the best and worst budgeters in the US including average credit scores.

Folks in the upper Midwest did the best and the worst were in the southern states.
